Guardian Angels' Tenderloin Base;

The Guardian Angels have a new base in the Tenderloin and will begin 24-hour patrols of the neighborhood next Wednesday, Caesar A. Cruz, the group's San Francisco coordinator, said yesterday.
Cruz said from two to 10 people will be on the streets at all times, with special patrols on the first and 15th days of each montn welfare checks are issued and some recipients spend the money on crack.
The Guardian Angels have been patrolling in the Mission District for the past five years.
