Got to HQ at 4pm and it was great to know that we are going to the haight for the night and we all know it is every the same.
Tonight we got to have greencard with us on patrol and it is all nice to have him with us.
THIS is JD he was talking to the team and let us know what is going on for the night and what we are looking out for tonight.

Your Patrol started off well it started at 7pm our first mission was to try to get on the bus to get to the mission districts it was a free night to right muni and everyone was on the bus but the good news we did make it down there in like 30 mins.We talked to a lady that was telling us about people where lighting christmas on fire right by her house and we told her that if she hear that again call the police they will come out you out.we also fine a glass pipe not good thing to found.WE walked the mission and nothing was going on there for the call was made to move to TL. Got back on bus and walk to TL from bus stop.In MARKET Street we stop at a bathroom and found a lot of needles and cooker.We went on to TL and it was crazy people all over the place some people happy to see us other not but we was there for the people of our city it was a great patrol everyone got back safe.

We the San Francsico guardian angel meet at our HQ at 8 am to have the toy give away for the kids of our city that may not get a toy we the Angels want to make sure they get a toy and get to see santa. Contra Costa come to help us out.Giving the toys out is a great way for kids to meet us and there familys and just another way we can give back to our city.We did have one problem on this day and it was a guy that robber the toy and for assault against santa clause.Dont worry the man was arrested and turn over to the police.

We meet up at HQ around 4pm to get ready to hit the streets but tonight we are going to help and show people that the San francisco guardian angels are there to help no matter what the case we are there and will be there for the people.Tonight we are going out with the mint mall for this christmas partol lantern festival.
This is the lady that made the parol lantern was all made by her we would like to thank her for letting us join her in the Festival and letting us being there.Thank you !

Tonight we patrol two parts of the city and it was a crazy night.We meet at HQ around 5pm and getting ready and head out by 6pm.The Mission was being very slow but we did run in to santa it was great.

We was on Mission Street there was nothing going on so we was starting to think about moving on and going to TL at this point.Time for some thing to do always something going on in the TL.
Our Angels are always on the look out for anything to happen.
Time for prebief, good times to see if anyone got anything to talk about.
In San Fransico we get our wings by getting a crack pipe off the street and tonight bobcat is going to get his wings for getting a crack pipe off a crack head.This is not a ez thing to do and take time to know what you are doing before you just go out and do this.
DONT TRY THIS AT HOME PLEASE !

Tonight we met up at HQ at 4pm to hit up the streets and we what we can find and tonight it was like a zoo in the TL.JD will be leading this patrol.
We got to the TL and JD had to call the police there was alot of people out on the streets and some man was saying he was going hit some lady so san fransico angels posted right up and was waiting for anything to pop off.The police got there and everything clam down and all the people that was out left real fast.
We seen this on the street and it is sad how the people of the TL are standing for people to do this to there street.some kid can come long and try to pick it up and hurt them self or get HIV from all of this.there was about 15 needles just sitting there on the ground good thing that we was there to pick them up.
After all that we needed a small break we stop at a place that let us to the bathroom in the TL.
We posted back up in the hot spot and we was taking the street and knot going to give it back until we are down for the night.We had a store owner so happy to see us there and taking the block back and getting people away from his store.Tonight was a great night happy to see all the angels out.Everyone came back safe so it a great night.Everyone is looking forward to next week.

Post up at 5th and mission to walk up to powell street wait for the leader to move us.

Here is JD posted up.we got rain out so we went back to HQ and did some training.

We was rain out but that didnt stop us from doing things and getting the job done.thanks to all that come out to us and from daring to care !

Tonight we patrol in the TL we met at HQ at 5pm and had a long prbief about what has been going on in the TL and there is more hot spots in the TL so that is why we are going there tonight.We come up there tonight and seen that we did have our work cut out for us.

We went to starbucks and a man that works around there at a hotel likes what we do and what we stand for and wanted to buy us all coffee. So we had a small break before going in to TL.

We all got to HQ at 6pm had prebeif and talk about all the crazy thing that can happen on Halloween.Tonight we had some old and some new Angels it is a great mix for a great patrol. dont forget to check out utube video i will add link here. youtube video

Our Chapter Leader Lion is talking about what may happen tonight on the street of the mission on this crazy night.

Post up waiting for the 14 bus to hit the mission.
Just got off bus posted up getting ready to go check some hot stop just off the mission.
Found a person drinking at bus stop we step in and ask them to move on.
Post up and on the look out for problems in the mission this is one of our new angels.
Check out more hot spot.team was posted up for a little bit here to make sure that nothing was going to happen here.
We went down to 24th and mission and post up here this is a very hot spot and everyone knows about we let the people see that we are here and that we are here for the people of San Francisco .
We ended this patrol and headed back to HQ and talk about what happen and what we can do better.thanks to all the angels that came out for this patrol.

Tonight we hit the TL with JD leading the patrol.we got to HQ at 6pm prebrief and we said it was the first of the month here we go.
We hit sime real hot spots in the TL
We was walking along and there was some people that had kid with them and right where they were look what we found.
This was still loaded and Sparky was really not happy about this and broke it fast.This was real a good thing to get off the streets wow it is the first of the month.This was a pipe but JD had to brake it fast some guy was wanting it from him and he broke it and said " not here".This is crazy 3 full and no room for anymore needles just thanks to the SF GA the angels are there to pick them up before some little kid is playing and get hurt.We got back to HQ debreif and was change and all happy to be going home after tonight. thanks to all 8 that came out.

Tonight we meet up at HQ at 7pm and talk about where to go and heard that powell street need some help so we headed there.Tonight we had 7 angels for this patrol to union square our Chapter Leader will be leading this patrol. we came across pot smokers without medical cards.We found some young people drinking alcohol. We continued to patrol the perimeter until we found it was quiet.and headed back to HQ for debrief.

We meet up at HQ at 6pm to head to the TL for a very fun night.Everyone know we had Prebief to talk about it before we hit the streets,JD will be leading this patrol.

We started the march in to the TL and we all know that we are not in a nice place anymore it was very crazy just on the first block we got to but we just post up and watch them all leave NO more drugs when we are there.

Little break and back on our way.
You got to be ready for anything in the TL you never know what might came at you and this Angel know that and is ready.Thanks to JD there is one less pipe on the streets! And look what the group pick up to night see there is a very big problem with all this!That is just way to much but we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will pick it up and make sure it is not on the streets for some little kid to see and start playing with it here is a the pic of every Angel that was on patrol tonight.

We had debief and talk about the night everyone came back safe so it was a great night and we clean up the streets of the TL.Thanks to all that came out.

Tonight we meet up HQ at 7:20pm everyone got ready for the nights patrol.we had Greencard to lead the patrol but he wants us in two teams and we had 6 member show up so Sparky was leading one team and Greencard lead the other team.We all go on the bus together and heading to Mission and went down to 24 th Street and post up and talk about where the teams would go.

We meet up again at Walgreens for a little break and Sparky got everyone something to Drink and we broke back up and heading down mission.
We got to 17th street and meet the other teams again nothing was happen on Sparkys team but Greencard had a fight was everything was ok on.Greencard did call for other team to come to him and Sparky got us there fast.and Greencard want Sparky to make call on the guy that was very drink and high on something.but there was nothing we can do he didnt do anything when we was posted up there so we left.We ended the night after a little bite of food thanks to Greencard.It was great patrol and Greencard and Sparky did a great team with the teams.way to go guys Brick!!!

We met up at HQ at 6pm had prebief and headed out to the mission dist.We had gotting word that the mission was needing some help so we need out there.We had Channel 2 meet us on the streets they wanted to talk and talk to the people in the mission.
We was waiting for the 14 to get down to the mission dist.

We went down the street nothing was really going on had some problems at 16th street but was not able to take pic due to the problems down there.we got down to walgreens and had a little break before we headed down to 24th street.
We got back to HQ later that night and had debief and talk about what was going on in the streets.It was a good night.

Tonight we met up at HQ at 7 pm and talk about where we was heading out to.our chapter leader Lion had call the police and found out some hot spots so we heading to Market street to check everything out over there.
We post up near a ATM where poeple like to come and watch people take out money.
Once we was done with Market we headed to the TL
It was a slow night but someone did fine a backpack that looked like it was pick thu so we went to the police and turn it all in.it was getting late so we haeded about to HQ .
It was a good patrol and we had debief and talk about it and what we all learn from this patrol so we all know we next time.

Today we went and join the United Playaz in the stop the violence march.We meet at HQ at 3pm to go down to the park and meet up with the Playaz at the park.
We posted up on the walk down to the park.And we still was on patrol as we walk to the park.stay in two lines and did the job the we had to do on the way down there.
Post up at park waiting for the march to start.
We as a group we watch the people in the park talk about what it mean to them to be there in the match.
Our Charpter Leader went up there and talkl to the poeple there too.
Alot of people was there for the march.
The SF GA would like to thank the Unitied Playaz for asking us to join them on the march.

Tonight was a small patrol but we are San Fransico GA so we went out. We meet up at HQ AT 4PM and we went out on mission to 7th street and had a new Angel with us.
We did found this on this patrol and got it off the streets.
We ran into two women that was showing off there body parts so JD stop the group and we went over there to check it out and see if there was anything we can do.But not to long Sparky got assulted but some keys and we had to call the police at this point.
This is what hit Sparky.
At this point we just waited for the police to let us know
when we can leave.
But we stayed posted up and never back down.

WE left the seen and move on to do our patrol and get more things done on this patrol we walk around and headed back to HQ around 7pm
But it was a good patrol cause we all came back safe and Sparky was ok.thanks for all that was there.

Tonight we meet up at 7:30pm for tonight patrol.We had prebeif and talk about last week patrol on Market street and powell street and what has been going on over there in that part of the city and what we can do to help.
Tonight we broke in to two teams so we can cover more ground.There was not a whole lot going on tonight.We had some skate boarder out but talk to them and they move on.There was no real problems so we headed back to HQ at 10 pm did debief and everyone when home safe.

We meet at 4pm did the prebeif then got to hit the streets with JD leading.Here is the team for tonight.
We walk down to wait for the 14 bus line so we can start our night off and see what we can fine.

In an alley some meds was found.Here is what it is above.
We went and check kids power park there was nothing but some kids playing in there but we all know that you never know when or where it is going to a hot.

We went to 23rd and Valencia street to the Tattoo guy for the SF GA at his shop Quetzalcoatl Thanks for taking time out of your day just to let us get a pic with you.

8-5-2011 Market and powell patrol

Tonight we patrol Union square to Market Street up to powell Street to check what is going on in the Street and see what good we can do tonight.Tonight our Charpter Leader Lion will be leading the patrol.We meet at HQ at 7:15 pm tonight we had prebrief and we talk about tonight being recuiting night.
This is how we get the word out here we go on the Street and talk to the people of the city and see if we can get people to dare to care.
We post up along the way and talk to some people.We have some people that just walk right up to us and just want to tell us thank you.We the SF Angels like to have people tell us thanks you so we know that we have help so many and more out there that we can help.
We went down to Bart and posted up there for a bit letting that people know that we are there and you never know where we will be next.
We did have some people telling us that there was a problem at the ATM on Market Street so the group was taking over .Once we got there our Chrapter Leader got on his phone with the Police letting them know what was going on we had a black male watching people at the ATM taking out money the male had a knife.So the Angels post up and watch the people and the males it came down to 3 male all black.The Police was looking for him when we call it a night and headed back to HQ.

Tonight we Patrol the TL.we got to HQ at 7pm and hit the streets by 7:30pm with "JD" Leading the team.

The team stop by starbucks before heading back to HQ.There was not much going on tonight we march all over the TL and nothing we be leave we had a male guy that was following us tonight.

We got back to HQ around 10:45pm all that was great all came back safe it was nice to see so much angels and would like to welcome the two new members we had last night thanks to all.

Tonight we meet up at HQ at 7:00 pm to do prebief.We had Greencard talk to us and lionj about some for the things that are happening in the city.We found out that maket street is having some problems so tonight that is where we are heading too.

Everyone is listening to what Greencard and lion are saying and taking some notes.

We headed out and hit the street. walk some alleys and lion our Chapter leader got a crack pipe off a guy that was trying to get his high on but NOT on our street.

We walk on to market street and had a lady come up to us and tell us she was sexually assault and the man that she though did it was in bugerking so lion had us go check it out so we when and then Greencard started to follow the guy when he left BK Lion was on the phone with the polices and come to fine out that was not the man it was all clear.

We walk up to union square Sparky was in traning and try to help lead the group.

We posted up for some pictures and than headed about down to HQ.

We got back to HQ had debief and everyone went home for the night thanks to all that can make it for tonight patrol and get ready for next week and good job sparky.

July 4 th in vallejo

Today we all met at HQ at around 6:30 pm tonight.We started with our prebief and talking about things coming up that we have ask to be there.Tonight Cobra will be leading this one.We hit the streets by 7 pm.

The group tonight wanted to check some alleys so we went on a needle looking out and here is what we found but it was most of it was on mission street.

Yes this is a crack pipe that was found and we had one more found way to go mustang.

6-17-2011 meetting with police in mission

We the guardian Angels went to have a meeting with the police today.It is nice to know that we have them on ours side out here.we met at HQ at 3pm to head that way.we did prebief than headed out.

We posted up outside of HQ to start the day we marched out to 5 th street to get on the 14 bus line to head down to 15th street.

We made it to the police station.This station is the one for the Mission Dist.

Lion was talking to the capt. of the mission we have wanted to meet with him for sometime now.

Tonight we the San Fransico Guardian Angels went out to the Mission Dist.We all met up at the H.Q at around 6:30 pm tonight and we hit the street at 7pm.Tonight we wear black ribons for the two Fire Fighter that gave there life to keep the city safe day and night.

Well Tonight team two didnt get off at 16th we went to 24th and posted up and run in to gang members at 24th.We where there for sometime but then team one came to team two and then everything was Code 4.

At 16 street this was found and the first aid had taking it and talk to the right people that give the things out to the drug user.

But this was a good fine to get off the streets it is way to much for one to get.so it was getting late so the teams call it a night and headed back to HQ for Debief.Everyone came back safe so it was a great night.Thanks to all members

Solano Country 25th annual " pista sa nayon" filipino festival

San Francisco Guardian Angels was ask to attend Solano Country 25th Annual Filipino Festival .We went over by ferry and there was 5 SF Angels that went over.

San Francisco Guardian Angels Patrol today was at SF Brazilian Carnaval may 28 2011.We invited Solano Country and hound dog from the L.A. Chapter to help us out on this one.It is one of the Biggest things we do in the year but we have been doing it for a while now.

This is the San Francisco Guardian Angel table at Carnaval We had Angels at the table at all times talking to all and letting them know what we are all about.

This is the group marching down the main part of the street.

We made one big team to patrol Carnaval the team looked good and poeple was happy to see us there and on patrol and keeping it safe.

It was all about team work on this day.We had SF Lion chatper leader and "O" Omar Chapter leader of Solano Country leading the group thou the poeple and patrol and making safe.

April 8 2011 Tonight we patrol haight ashbury on a night patrol this friday patrol is just trying to help on the police in the haight ashury with the problems they have been having and since we the San Francisco Guardian Angel have been working with the police to try to make a people of the haight to feel safer in there part of the city.Tonight we was join on the patrol with Zach Vasquez from the "Creosote journal"We all got to HQ at 7 pm to have out prebief.

We march up 6th street to get on the 71 bus line but we stop long the way and posted up and wait for the leader Lion who was leading the patrol to tell us to move out.

We posted up on Market street waiting for the 71 to pull up.We talked to alot of poeple and alot of poeple that just wanted to tell us thank you.we got to haight and check the park but there was nothing going on in the park so we move on to check all the other parks that we can get in to.

Then Lion had take us to Mcdonlds so we can eat before we march back down haight ashbury but well we was eatting we still was working.Telling the jorual what we do out here. This night it was a great patrol got to talk to alot of the poeple in the haight and hear there side of the story so it was good to hear from the people of the haight so we know what we can do for them.The San Franciso Guardian Angels would like to say Thank you to Zach for coming out.All in all it was a great patrol.

Thurday March 31th 2011 We the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be patrolling the Mission Dist. today.We all arrived at HQ.everyone change then we started prebrief then hit the street getting on the 14 bus and heading down to 16th street and getting the night started.

We went to some hot spots and it is never the same on the Mission.It has been a slow night but we still check everything 16th street all the way to 24th street we also check all the kids parks on the way down the street.

This park is a hot spot for the lot of drug dealers on the Mission and it is hard knowing the the kids do come to this park to play.So we come here and check it out.Tonight there is nothing in the park but We know that we can never stop looking here and we will keep checking on all the park

We post up on Mission Street to show that we are here and that we are not leaving.

We posted up on the way down Mission street it was a slow night but we still check all alleys .

Tonight the Angels did get some drugs off the streets it was found on the ground on 24th street.Tonight leader Scorpion told us to gedt read of it so Sparky did want she was told to do.Scorpion told us that it was late so we headed back to HQ so we can do the debrief .it was a good patrol.

Oakland Kid's Day Event 10/17/10

Sunday October 17th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels, Contra Costa Guardian Angels, and the LA Guardian Angels with Ajax our Northern Reg. Director have a event on this day. It is in Rockridge, and it is a Kids Day Event, so we as Guardian Angels will provide the best service for this event to be a Safe event. The day starts out for everyone to meet at the SFHQ on time, get into uniform, get into prebrief, and to get on our way there as soon as possible. We have first aid techs, we will use all radios for communication, now we are ready to march to the Bart Station. We get to the Bart Station, we ride the Bart, we get to our stop, the stop is the Rockridge Station.

Next we have to get transported by vehicles to this event, we get to this event, to where we all meet up with Ajax, and she makes the teams. We have Angels posted at entrances, we have Angels walking through the event, so we could tell how this event will turn out, as we all wanted it all to turn out safe.

There is food stands, there is music, there is face painting, there is retail vendors, and there is alot of kids. But as we could tell it was not as good as a turn out as it could have been, due to the the rain, but it did not rain all day.

As the day went on there seem to be only one incident, there where these two young females that stoled two rings from a vendor, but the mother stood in and said that she would pay for them, but the girls still denied that they had take them. But the vendor was OK with this and had ask the girls to never come back to her stand, problem solved. As this day comes to a close, we observe the fun that the kids had, and the smell from the food stands closing, this was a good day for us all.

Next all Angels march up to our meeting point, as we marched we could see from the top of the hill how big this area really was. When we had got to our meeting point we all made a circle and did a quick debrief. This is what we do, and this is how it is done, team work, team work from other chapter, coming together to do an event.

What a great organization that can do this, with great Angels that care with all there hearts. Next we get into vehicles, we get to the Rockridge Station, we get on Bart, then we get to our Station, Powell Station. We march to our HQ, we do our debrief, we change back into our street clothes, and then we all go back to our homes.

Mission Night Patrol 10/16/10

Saturday October 16th 2010, will be a night patrol in the Mission Dist. This is a patrol with angels from other chapters, along with the San Francisco Guardian Angels. We all meet at the HQ for this patrol, this will not be a major patrol, this will be a patrol we had got a call on about some drug dealing at the 16th street Bart Station. Our major event will be the following day in Oakland, and that event has already been planed out. As we prepare for this night patrol, we did our prebrief, all angels are in uniform, all angels are ready to hit the streets. There will be one team tonight for this patrol, J.D. will lead the team, we will use all radios for communication.

Next we march to the bus stop, we get on bus #14, we get to our stop 16th street Bart Station. As we post up at the station, it is calm now and there is not much activity, not much that we could do here at this moment. But we know that there are other hot spots that we can check out, then we can come back to see if these drug dealers are at this station.

We then march to the alleys, Hunter's Alley, Lover's Lane Alley and Travis Alley, we did pick up dirty needles, these alleys are clean. We then march back to the 16th street Bart Station, and there they are, about 10 gang bangers, dealing there Crack Cocaine. We did see one drug deal, but it was to fast.

Next we post up right next to them, then someone else comes up to buy drugs, we saw this and we jump right on it, we ask them if they wanted to go to jail, we asked them to leave, we asked them to back off.

They wanted to fight, they took off there jackets, they called us every name in the book, they said they wasn't going to leave. We did have to use alittle force to back them away, but we where not going to back down. They did leave, and it did calm down, for a short moment, they then came back with more guys, but there was No more drug deals that we could see. We stayed post up as long as it takes, until they findly gave up an left, this corner is now at peace. We then called it a night, we got back on the bus #14, we got to the HQ, we did debrief.

Fleet Week Patrol 10/9/2010

Saturday October 9th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels and the Contra Casta Guardian Angels will be doing Fleet Week patrols today. We do this every year to make sure it is a SAFE event, for this is Fleet Week where thousands of people will be attending. There is Navel Ships in the Bay, there is the Blue Angels air show, and there is food and drinks along with souvenirs stands at this event. Back at the HQ we all prepare and get ready for one of our biggest events of the year, we change into our uniforms, we prebrief, we pick our teams. J.D. (SF Chapter Leader) will lead team one, and Spider (CC Chapter Leader) will lead team two, we have first aid techs, we will be using all radios for communication.

Now we march, we march all the way to the piers, we get to Pier 39, we begin our patrol for safety. Everything looks fine, and everyone is having fun, but we stay focus on this patrol. We march all the way to the end of the air show, some people drinking but responsibility, no drugs though, some people riding there bikes through crowds, not safe, so we ask them to walk them.

Next we break, for bathroom, for smoking, for water, and for a moment to rest because this is alot walking. Now we are ready to get back on patrols, both teams, one behind the other, but with distance apart, we then march to the Submarine that the have at one of the piers to check this area. This was a good idea, because if you where in uniform you could go inside the SUB for free, so we did, this was cool and fun because some of us had never been inside a Submarine before.

But we do get back to patrolling, until the event ends, there was nothing else that stood out or that was out of the ordinary. So J.D. calls it a day or night because it was getting late, we then begin to march back to the HQ.

As we got to the Farrie Building, there was skate boarding, there is a sign No Skate Boarding in this area, so we made them stop with alot of yelling from the skate boarders, it is the LAW and the knew this, but they stoped and we marched on. We findly made it to 5th street from our march, and just around the corner is our HQ, we all knew we made it back safe and a little tired.

Back at HQ we search our members, we do our debrief, we change back into our street clothes. We do love doing this event, it gets our organization out there, we did take alot of photo's with tourist for them to take back to there country, and people get to see what other things Guardian Angels do.

Tenderloin Night Patrol 10/2/10

Saturday October 2nd 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will being doing a night patrol in the Tenderloin Dist. tonight. We have been getting all kinds of calls from this area, it is a dangerous neighborhood and it is a dangerous patrol. But we are Guardian Angels and this is what we do, we put our life on the line to make it safe. All angels arrive at the HQ, we change into uniforms, we get into our prebrief, and this is how we begin our patrol. There will be two teams tonight, Scorpion (Second In Command) will lead team one, Nemo (Sergeant) will lead team two, J.D. (Chapter Leader) and Greencard (Senior Leader) will be observers.

We have two first aid techs, one for each team, and we will be using all radio's for communication. We call the Police Dept.. to check in, it is a GO, we search all angels for weapons, this is a GO, now we are ready to hit the streets. We know this area very well, and we know what to look for, we know our HOT SPOTS, and we know what corners to post up at. For this patrol we march down alleys, and we march down the streets that has the most bad guys.

We check on the parks in this area, and we even ask store owner's is everything OK. But this patrol is in the Tenderloin Dist. and it always turns up something, we took crack Pipes form crack heads, we took bottles of alcohol off of drunks drinking in public, we picked up dirty needles with blood and drugs still left in them. But this is how it is, and it does not seem to be getting any better. But on this night we make it calmer and we make it safer as we patrol the streets of the Tenderloin Dist.

As we march on we found a drivers licence on the side walk, it is an ID that someone would take advantage of if they found it. We did know what to do, we put it in a mail box, this is our procedure.

We march on and we march on, we posted up and we posted up, as it has gotten to a point to where these street people wanted to call the police on us. This happens and we know it, because they cant make no money, they cant pimp out, they cant rob anybody, they cant take over corners. This is the Tenderloin Dist. we try to come to this area as much as we can, and we will work with the Police Dept. as much as we can, to make it a better place to live.

Scorpion calls it a night, we march back to the HQ, we get to the HQ, we search all angels again, we get into our debrief, and we change back into our street clothes. This was a patrol with mistakes, but we learn from mistakes, we don't like to make them but they happen. This was a very good patrol, because we came back home SAFE.

Volunteering With St. Anthony Foundation 9/26/10

Sunday September 26th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be working with the Saint Anthony Foundation today. This was an idea from one of our angels, and he also works for the Saint Anthony Foundation. The Saint Anthony Foundation helps out so many people in San Francisco, and they have helped this city in so many ways. To do our service for this Foundation we had to be put on a schedule, and when our day came up we would show up and do the job. We as angels are ready, we all arrived at the HQ, we will not wear full uniform today, we will wear our Colors and our Barets today only for this service.

We then march over to the Foundation, at the Foundation we get our orientation, we get job assignments, and we will switch jobs as needed. For this service, we will be serving food to the homeless, the poor, the veterans, the elderly, the addicts, and for thousands of people that come there to the Foundation to eat.

Our jobs are, to fold napkins, to bring food trays to people at the tables who are handicap, to pick up trays that are finished at the tables, to clean the tables that are dirty, and any other things that is needed.

As for the people that we mighte run into, we where thinking about this as well. We did not know if we would see the ones that would say, you are the angels that took my drugs, you are the angels that took my crack pipe, you are the angels that put me in jail. But if that had happened, we would know what to do and we would not push it any further.

This is a place to come to eat and it is provided by this Foundation, as Guardian Angels we did do our best to do this job. Normally we do patrols, we do events, we do festivals and we do training. But for this service it felt good, it was different, it was exciting, and it was something we had never done before in our chapter as Guardian Angels.

As this day ended, the Foundation Thanked Us, we said our goodbyes, and we marched back to the HQ. We got back to the HQ, we did a debrief, there was alot of things was said from there hearts, on how we had been there to eat at times of our lives. Thank You Angels For Doing This Service!

Dolores Park Patrol 9/24/10

Friday September 24th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be doing a night patrol at Dolores Park tonight. The reason for this patrol in this area is the parties. At our headquarters we were getting in calls and reports about the drugs, the drinking, and the fighting, that has been going on in this area. Normally we don't patrol this area, but we wanted to see for ourselves how bad has it got. All angels who are going on this patrol arrive at the HQ on time, we change into uniform, we prebief. J.D. will lead the team tonight, with first aid techs, with all radio's for communication, now we are ready to hit the streets.

We march to the bus stop, we get on bus #14, we get to our bus stop at 16 street BART STATION, but this is not a Mission patrol so we do not stay there very long. We then march to Delores Park, we get to Delores Park, and soon as we reach the corner of the park we smell pot. Now let see what else we come across, we then march right up the middle of the park, there is partying but nothing out of control. Next we march on, we did notice a motor-bike riding through the park, we did try to stop the guy and yell at the guy, but he was to fast. But he did leave, maybe because of the angels or maybe because he knew this was not SAFE.

Next we march on, we march around the park, we march through the park, it was not as bad as we thought it would be. Or maybe the word had got out that the angels where coming into this area, who knows. The highlight of the night was pouring out beers for drinking in public, but that's OK because these bad guys respected us for doing it, they knew this was breaking the law. Well J.D. is calling it a night, there is not much else that can be done in this area.

We then march back to the bus stop.

We do get to our stop at 16th street BART STATION, we get on bus #14, we get to our stop at 6th street. But as we where a block away from our stop a gang banger jump on the bus for free, we look at this guy real good, and as soon as we got to our stop we asked the guy to get off the bus with us and he did. We then hand cuff this guy, we then search this guy, but this guy was our second in command (Scorpion). He really tried to pull one on us, but we showed him because we were ready for anything. At HQ we did debrief, we change back into our street clothes, and now we do know how this park is, and we will not let this park get out of control.

Shadow's Memorial Service/ TL Night Patrol 9/18/10

Saturday September 18th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels is going to have a busy day today to complete this hole weekend. First half of the day is Shadows Memorial in Richmond, and the second half of the day is a night patrol in the Tenderloin Dist. To start off this day everyone arrives at the HQ to change into uniform, we then march over to the BART STATION.

We get on the BART, we ride the BART over to Richmond, we get to our stop El Cerito Plaza Station, we then march over to the Memorial. We get to Shadow's Memorial, but it is not just the San Francisco Guardian Angels there, All Guardian Angels are there in SPIRT, even Curtis Sliwa was there in SPIRT. As we all know it is sad to lose a brother, but we all know he is in HEAVEN with GOD now, we will miss you brother.

As we all showed our respect's and our wishes to his family at his Memorial. We did have a lot of good things to say about Shadow at his Memorial of how we knew him as a Guardian Angel. This was a peaceful Memorial, there were alot of his family members there and there were alot of his friends there, and it was a blessing for us to be there. We did want to help out his family as much as we could, and we let his family know we will be there for them in case they ever need us. Rest In Peace Brother Shadow!

Second half of the day, we march back to the BART STATION. We get on the BART, we ride the BART back to San Francisco, we get to our stop Powell Station, we march back to our HQ. Here at HQ we prepare for this night patrol in the Tenderloin Dist.

We do prebrief, Explorer will lead the team of ten angels tonight, we will be using all radios for communication tonight. We call the TL Police Station to check in, now we are ready to hit the streets. For this tour we know our HOT SPOTS and we know our ALLEY'S, you just have stay focus and be alert.

As for this tour we took Crack Pipes and we took Dirty Needles off the street tonight. But tonight of all nights was major, we where sweeping this alley, something did not feel right about this alley, we scared away these addicts, but they left something behind, a 1/4 ounce of COCAINE. Great job by Highlander for having his eye's open, we then walk to the end of the alley where we advise police officers of our find. We then gave the coke to the officer, he did a police report and thank us for a great find. As the tour continued, more Crack Pipes where took off the streets, and more Dirty Needles where took off the streets.

We did have one hell of a night but it was getting late, Explorer decides to call it a night and to march back to the HQ. We get back to HQ, we do debrief, Highlander did get his WINGS for his find, we change back into our street clothes.

The feeling we had tonight is, we came back home SAFE, we came back home doing a great job tonight, this is what it is all about being a Guardian Angel.

Mission Night Patrol 9/17/10

Friday September 17th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be doing a night patrol in the Mission Dist. tonight. We do have guest from other chapter's,Tiger from the Stockton Chapter, Explorer from the LA Chapter, Senior Leader Greencard from the San Jose Chapter, and Director Of California Confront from the San Diego Chapter. This is a night patrol and a night patrol in this area is very dangerous, so we need to be focus and alert for this patrol. All the angels arrived at the HQ on time, all the angels change into there uniforms, and now we are ready for prebrief.The patrol is set, there will be two teams tonight; The first team will be lead by Scorpion, he has one first aid tech on his team, this is a large team of 12 angels. The second team will be lead by Greencard, we are the back up team, this is a small team of 5 angels. The reason being for this smaller team is so we could maneuver faster, and get to the larger team faster, there are other reasons for this but we cannot tell these procedures.

Next we pass out all the radio's for communication, we choose partners, we call the Mission Police Dept. to advise our patrol, now we are ready to hit the streets. Next we march to the bus stop, we get on bus #14, we get to our bus stop 16th street BART STATION, we post up on both corner's of BART. Same old story, the bad guys see us they run that way and they this way, but they leave and it calms down. But we just don't leave that fast, the second team stays posted up at the BART STATION while the first team checks the alleys. First team then arrives back to the BART STATION to the second team to advise us, they pick up dirty needles and that the alley is all clear.

We march on, up Mission St. we post up on a few corners, they are calm, we check out our park, it is locked, so we march on. Next we get to our rest stop WALGREEN'S, bathroom break, smoke break, and water break. If we did not do this or if we did not have this Resource, we could not stay out as long as we could.

But it helps us a great deal, we did have people stop to ask questions about us, and we take time to take some photo's, and we did have enough time talk about our berets because of our different styles, but we have to get back on patrol.

Next we march to 24th street BART STATION, we get there, we post up on both corner's of BART, we did come up on this man that was stone drunk with his credit card sticking out of his pocket, and he had his NIKE shoes off of his feet. So we did wake the man up and explained to him in Spanish that he needed to go home and to get off the streets, he did.

This area was all clear and we could tell how calm it was, so Scorpion puts the teams on bus #14 for a small bus patrol, this too was all clear. Scorpion then decides to call it a night and to head back to the HQ, as we are already on the bus it wasn't before long that we where back to the HQ. All the angels know what we do next before we leave, we go right into debrief, it is a good debrief, it is a debrief that is never the same, but debriefing helps us to become better. We then put the radio's back into there chargers, change back into our street clothes, and remind everyone what we must do tomorrow.

Haight Ashbury Patrol 9/11/10

Saturday September 11th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be patrolling the Haight Ashbury Dist. today. But this is not just any other patrol, this patrol is dedicated to a leader in the Guardian Angels. The Chapter Leader for Richmond Calif. and his code name was Shadow. Shadow had past away from health problems, we knew Shadow well, and we had patrolled with Shadow many time's. He was a true leader and he was a true friend, for us to show our respect we the San Francisco Chapter wore Black Ribbons on our color's for this day. We all knew this patrol was going to be done for Shadow, and everyone knew to be at the headquarters on time. As we all arrived at the HQ, we change into our uniforms, we did prebrief, and now we prepare to hit the streets.

There will be two teams for this patrol today, Nemo will lead team one, and Matador will lead team two, we have three first aid techs today, we will use all radio's for communication today, now we are ready to hit the streets. We march to the bus stop, we get on bus #6, we get to our stop in the Height Ashbury Dist. we march down the main street of Height, post up a few time's, all clear.

We get to the end of Height, we run into an old school member of the Angels, he introduced him self as Derrick. This guy was cool, he explained to us how it used to be like back then, and how we looked today, it was all good, Thank You Brother for your service.

Now we march into the Golden Gate Park and we all know what to look for, but it is all calm, and it is all peaceful but we are here for a tour and we will do our tour of this area. We did pick up, beer bottles, wine bottles, whiskey bottles, through-out the park and smelt dope in a few area's, this was it, all clear.

As for this one moment in the park, we did have to take this photo at a fountain where we all had pointed our finger's to heaven to say, This Is For You Shadow, that was great.

Next we march on, out of the main park through the tunnel, back on Height Ashbury main street. This was not good, we came up on this guy, this guy was on drugs, this guy did not know who he was, where he was, and that he was feeling real bad. First aid checked him out, check his blood presser, check heart beat, everything that the could do, the decision was to call for the EMT'S, we did, they arrived, he went to the hospital.

Next we march, we march down Height Ashbury main street again, posted up a few time's, all clear.

Nemo then advises the teams to call it a day, and we march to the bus stop, we get to the bus stop, we get on bus #71, we get to our stop at Market, we march to the HQ. We are now at the HQ, and we all know what we must do, we do our debrief, but there is a moment of silence and a prayer for our brother Shadow. Now we change back into our street clothes, and we reflect the day as to one of our best day patrols ever. First Aid Techs did a Great job today!

Tenderloin Night Patrol 9/3/10

Friday September 3rd 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be patrolling the Tenderloin Dist. tonight. We will also be having a Documentary Story done of the San Francisco Guardian Angels in the Tenderloin Dist. tonight. But we don't let this filming side track us because we have a job to do in the this area, the Tenderloin Dist. We know this area very well, and a night patrol in this area is very dangerous, so we have to be FOCUS. All Angels are advised to be at the headquarters on time for this patrol because this will be a late night, and we do need to hit the streets as soon as possible. All Angels had arrived at the headquarters, we all change into uniforms, we all get into our prebrief, prebrief is always important before our patrol.

Next we get ready to hit the streets with our teams, Lion will lead team one, Electra will lead team two, we do have two first aid techs tonight one on each team, we will also be using all radio's for communication on this patrol tonight. There will be two observers for this patrol, Chapter Leader J.D. and Senior Leader Greencard, the observers are observing mistakes, following directions, skills, and leadership.

Next we march into the area, the Tenderloin Dist. we march down streets like; Turk Street, Eddy Street, Ellis Street, O'Farrell Street, Geary Street, and we also march down streets like Larkin Street, Hyde Street, Leavenworth Street, Jones Street, Taylor Street, and one more street called Golden Gate Street.

This is the Tenderloin Dist. that we patrol, this is where the HOT SPOTS are in these streets, this is where drug dealers take over corners of these streets, and this is where you can get killed on these streets. But we still patrol no matter what, as for this patrol we took three crack pipes off the streets tonight, we picked up half a dozen dirty needles off the streets tonight, we stop a party of drinking in public at a bus stop tonight.

As we said this is the Tenderloin Dist. and if we where not here in this area, it would have been more dangerous. As we where closing the end our tour, Lion advise the patrol that it is getting late, and that it is time to march back to the headquarters.

So we march and we march right through the Tenderloin Dist. again back to our headquarters, we get there, we debrief, debrief is always important after our patrol as well, we change back into our street clothes.

As for this patrol it was different, we did have a camera on us the hole time but it did not make a difference. We where FOCUS, we where ALERT, and we followed DIRECTIONS, great LEADERSHIP by Loin. The Chapter is maturing and you could see this tonight!

Friday August 27th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be doing a night patrol in the Mission Dist. tonight. This is a switch of days because we usually do Saturdays. We will also get the feeling again what Fridays are like, because Fridays in this area can be a kick off to the partying. Next we all report to the HQ to do this patrol, we all change into uniforms, and now we are ready to do prebrief. The teams are set, Lion will lead team one, Cobra will lead team two, we do have two first aid techs one for each team, and we will be using all radio's for communication on this patrol. There will also be two observers for this patrol tonight, J.D. and Scorpion, the reason being for observers is to over-look the patrol, to look for mistakes, to look for not following directions, and to look for skills and leadership. Next we hit the streets, we march to the bus stop, we get on bus #14.

We get to our stop, our stop is the 16th street Bart Station, we post up there for a good while. 16th street Bart Station is a HOT spot, there is drug dealing, there is drug using, there is drinking in public, there is prostitution, all of this is not new it has been like this for years. We the Guardian Angels know it as a Hot spot for trouble, and this is why we never give up on this spot, we cant because there is so many people come through there that are good people.

Next we march on, we march up Mission Street, 17th street, 18th street, 19th street, 20th street, from these streets we confiscated two crack pipes, a cristal-meth pipe and we stopped a guy that was walking down the sidewalk with a pole sworded tip. For the Angels we smashed the pipes on the street, as for the guy with the pole sworded tip, he was a instructor for a DO-JO, so we asked the guy to cover it with his jacket and to go straight home with it, he did.

Next we march on, we proceeded to march up Mission Street, 21st street, 22nd street, 23rd street, 24th street, from these streets we confiscated a stack of IDs from a ID ring, it was there stash, and we took two more crack pipes from crack heads. For the Angels the stack IDs was a big hit to these identity rings, they steal other people identification and sale them on the streets or they are fakes, we did turned them over to the police and made a police report on this, as for the crack pipes we smashed them on the street as well.

We are now at 24th street Bart Station, we post up there for a good while, 24th street Bart Station is another HOT spot, except for tonight it is calm, normally there is drug dealing (Heroin) but not tonight. The 24th street Bart Station is another busy area where there are alot of people coming and going, but as long as we keep patrolling this station it stays safe.

Next we do a bus patrol, both teams on two #14 bus's, we see more this way, but for tonight it is all calm. Next we check on our Hot spot alleys, both teams hit two different alleys, we see more this way and we did do more this way. We picked up dirty needles, and we picked up broken bottles, and now these two alley's are clean, this is what we do.

As the night was getting late, Lion calls it a night, and advises the teams to march to the bus stop, we get back on #14 bus, we get to our stop, our stop is 6th street. We march to our HQ, we get to the HQ, we do debrief- as for debrief it teaches us and helps us grow to be better angels and that is why we do it, we change back into our street clothes, and then we say our goodbye's. We also need to mention this, there is never the same patrol, all patrols are different, these patrols that are done SAFE.

Sacramento Campaign 8/21&22/10

Saturday August 21st & Sunday August 22nd 2010, will be a busy weekend for the San Francisco Guardian Angels. There is a Campaign that is going on in the city of Sacramento Calif. our state capital. The Sacramento Guardian Angels Chapter will be incharge of this Campaign and they are requesting help from any chapter that can give them a hand. The Reno Chapter will be there Friday, the San Jose/Santa Clara Chapter will be there Saturday, the San Francisco Chapter will be there Saturday and Sunday for this Campaign. We the San Francisco Chapter will also be assisting the Salano Chapter for there Puerto Rican Festival on Saturday. As for the Salano Chapter Event the reports where all good for the San Francisco Guardian Angels that went to Salano, the Solano Chapter always puts there heart and soul into there events.

For the Campaign all the other San Francisco Guardian Angels will have to travel to Sacramento, our transportation is the Greyhound Bus. Next we march to the Greyhound Station, we wait in line for the bus, we get on the bus, the bus ride there is three hours so we rest on the bus to be ready for this Campaign.

The Greyhound Bus arrives at Downtown Sacramento, the bus pulls into the station, we all get off the bus, and we will be meeting up with the San Jose/Santa Clara Chapter in the area. We all meet up and began to march, we march to the State Capital Building to take photo's and to wait for pick up from the Sacramento Chapter.

It all comes together, the pick up works out, the meals work out, and now the patrols come to play. The first patrol is a look out patrol, all the angels are on the look out for a woman beater, this woman was pregnant, she had been attact from behind by this man. We hand out fliers, we put fliers on telephone poles, we march down streets, we got alot of support from this city, and even the woman herself came out to thank us for CARING, this was a great feeling. The second patrol is at the Days Inn Hotel, it is a take back patrol, to take back the hotel from the Pimps and the Prostitutes. Yes this was out of hand, the hotel was in need, they needed the angels to be there over night until the next day.

(Sir Kent) Senior Leader, (Fire Tech) Chapter Leader, and there chapter knew the area, and they knew what to look for, they then put us into teams and showed everyone what needed to be done. You had to see this for yourself, the Pimps where pissed off because none of the cars where stopping for there girls when they saw the Guardian Angels. There where Prostitutes running this way and there where Prostitutes running that way, like a cat and mouse operation, but it was working because it was slowing down.

There was this one moment about to be a fight between two Pimps and the angels because they where loosing business, but they back down and went there on way. As the night was getting late, we all had to get back to our meeting place, but we knew this was going to go on all night. The San Jose/Santa Clara Chapter had to leave back home, it was going to be a long drive for them. The Sacramento Chapter was calling it a night, they needed to get home to be ready to pick up San Francisco Chapter in the morning. As the night was calm, the security (Anthony) made his rounds, he advised the angels that this is one of the quietest nights he has seen in a long time, but if there is a problem he will come to our room and get us, so be ready. As we waited and feel asleep with our uniforms on, there was no knock on the door, so when we woke up we went to the front desk to check in, they even said it was a quiet night and that nothing happened.

Well at least we ready, but now we have to get ready for pick up to the Greyhound Station. Sir Kent arrived at the hotel for pick up with there vehicles to take the San Francisco Chapter to the Greyhound Station. We get to the Station, we thank Sir Kent and his Chapter for inviting us to this Campaign, we wait in line for the bus, we get on the bus, the bus ride is three hours, but that's OK we are tired and we are ready to get back home.

The San Francisco Guardian Angels arrive at Downtown San Francisco, the bus pulls into the station, we get off the bus, we march to the HQ.
As we are home and we are in our HQ, we still do debrief, it has to be done because it lets everyone know what they learned, if you did not learn anything then maybe you shouldn't be in the Guardian Angels.

Closed Door Meeting 8/14/10

Saturday August 14th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be having a closed door meeting for all our member's today. It has been a very exciting week with the 2010 World Conference, and all the Guardian Angels that came to San Francisco from around the world. So now it is time to regroup, reorganize, and get back on track because as the San Francisco Chapter we stay busy, really busy.

We already have plans that we are working on that needs to come to the table, we have new members that needs to get out on patrols, we have neighborhoods that has been calling us for patrols. As we said at the beginning of the year this will be a year to remember, we will be doing more patrols, more events, and requiting more members. We will also be having other chapters joining us in our major events and our major patrols here in San Francisco. As we in turn will be traving over to there chapters to give them a hand, it works out both ways. As Guardian Angels you have to be respectful, to get respect you have to give respect, it don't come easy either, sometimes you have to earn respect. Respect is a big word and it has meaning, because Guardian Angels are Roll Models, because Guardian Angels are Law Biding Citizens, and because Guardian Angels are Honest. This is why Respect is one of our keys in the San Francisco Chapter to be a strong chapter in California. As our meeting went on there where promotions, there where I Supports that went to Safety, and there where alot of things took care of at this meeting. So all in all the meeting went well, and we all definitely needed to be at this meeting as the San Francisco Chapter to see how things are going for today and for tomorrow and in our future.

Int'l Convention: Day Three & Four 8/7&8/10

Saturday August 7th 2010, The 2010 World Conference is kicking off to a great start by giving out the AWARDS on this day. As we all know, it takes alot of work to get AWARDS, and they don't come easy, but well deserved. It takes alot of heart and soul to do what we do as Guardian Angels, we don't get paid for what we do, we don't get gifts for what we do, and we don't get recognized at time's for what we do.

But that's the way it is because we Dare To Care, we are men and women who choose to go this path for the Safety of this world. Now back to the AWARDS, they mean alot, they also will be handed out by Curtis, he will call up the angel or the chapter to come up and received there AWARD, and this is basically how this is done.

Next comes our guest speakers, FLASH, and ROCKY, these guys really do rock. There leadership very much shows, and come's out when they spoke, they are an inspiration and they inspired us all by there OLD SCHOOL WAYS. There where other speakers that spoke and we do not want to leave them out , we are thankful for the wisdom and there guidance, sorry for leaving out there names but they will not be forgotten.

As we move on into our schedule, there will be three things going on at once, patrol in the Tenderloin Dist., patrol in the city of Oakland, and a First Aid Class, as it all comes together everyone does have a choice. Next all angels head out to there patrols and to there training, we just have to wait and see how this all turns out. The patrol in the Tenderloin Dist. has trouble, there is a fight that they break up, blood is all over the sidewalk, the police are there, the ambulance are there, the situation calms down as the bad guys go to jail and one guy goes to the hospital, there is more but we have to keep it short. As for the patrol in the City Oakland in went well with Ajax leading the way, I did not receive any bad reports about the patrol, great job Ajax.

For the First Aid Training, all angels do need this training, you never know when you will have to use it, this went well. Now we call it night, but we call it a SAFE night, all angels did have a great day and did have a great night, what more can you ask for.

Sunday August 8th 2010, Last day for The 2010 World Conference. We start out with Chapter meetings with Curtis Sliwa, to talk about, where are we at, where are we going, and what we need to be doing. It is very important for us to be discussing these things, to see what our future holds and to see how our chapters are building.

Next we have two things on our schedule today, we have a patrol to Per 39 and a self-defence class, while there are still meetings going on at the hotel. The patrol to Per 39 went well, it was more as a better view of our city patrol, at least the angels got to see apart San Francisco that is the good side of our city before they left back to there city's and there country's. The meeting spot for all angels is the hotel, all angels must be at the hotel to leave back to there destination's, all angels must be on time for there flight's. As we are prepared if someone does mess there ride or there flight, we do have a back up plan, this is took care of by Confront, our California Director he will be incharge of this. Well it has been great or it has been good, either way we think we will be remembered.

International GA Convention: Day Two 8/6/10

Friday August 6th 2010, this is the second day of the 2010 World Conference and it was even more exciting. There where more Angels that had arrived, there where more patrols, and there where alot of meetings on this day.

We begin with Curtis Sliwa giving his speech and when Curtis gives his speech he tells it like it is. Remember he is the founder of The Guardian Angels, he started the group in 1979, the place was N.Y. the Bronx, and this idea came to him as a night manager in McDonald's Rest.

So here we are today a World Wide organization that fights crime in the streets around the world. The Guardian Angels is a National and International organization, we are getting stronger and we are getting better through the leaders that we have in our organization. Next is our guest speaker Eddie Ramirez, great guy as a Oakland Police Officer and this guy used to be a Chapter Leader for San Francisco, he is a roll model.

As the day moves forward, we patrol the Tenderloin Dist. it is what it is, we check out our hot spots, we check out Cobra's Corner, all is calm. This is a day patrol and we do stick out like a sore thumb, the schedule for this patrol is ending so we march back to the hotel for updates.

Here we go, the plan for tonight is two patrols, there will be one patrol in the Mission Dist. with half of the Angels, there will be another patrol in the city Oakland with the other half of the Angels. As it goes on through the night, things turn out for the good, there is no bad reports coming in, so it looks good for both patrols.

Both patrols come back to the hotel with a Safe feeling, and a feeling of a long day, now it is time for sleep and rest to be ready for tomorrows big events. One other part that needs to be said, every Angel that is here for this 2010 World Conference got to see the San Francisco Headquarters, this is not bragging, this is not showing off, and that this is not just a Headquarters, this is a Headquarters for all Guardian Angels. This HQ does not belong to me, this HQ does not belong to you, this HQ belongs to the Guardian Angels Organization and it belongs to Curtis Sliwa the founder of the Guardian Angels. Thursday August 5th 2010; This is the day the 2010 World Conference begins, and there will be Guardian Angels from around the world here in San Francisco for this Conference. All of the chapters from California have put this together to make it the best one ever. All of the Angels had lodging at the Holiday Inn, the location was great it was close to everything, most of all the patrols.

For this first day of the Conference, it is meet and greet for the Angels who where arriving from other country's and city's. There are patrols planned for today and tonight so we do have a big day ahead of us. The first patrol begins in the Tenderloin Dist. it is a day patrol, the teams are ready to hit the streets. On this patrol it is our same tour in this neighborhood, because we know the hot spots in this area, but today it is calm.

One thing did stand out, we the Angels was marching up this one street, we stoped at this bus stop and observe three men smoking crack cocaine, we thought they had just finished it. So we the Angels asked to see there hands, the first guy opens his hands (nothing), the second guy opens his hands (nothing), but when the third guy opened his hands, there it was that one rock he put it to his mouth an swallowed it. We the Angels could not do anything about this, so we explained to the guy to take off and never come back here again, he left.

Day patrol was done the Angels did there job, and the Angels came back to the hotel SAFE, this was a good patrol. As Angels are still arriving from there country's and city's to the hotel, we get ready for our second patrol, it is in the Mission Dist. The teams are ready to hit the streets, for this patrol it is our same tour for this neighborhood as well, we know the hot spots in this area, but it is not the same because it is a night patrol.

There is alot going on tonight, we pick-up dirty needles, we took crack pipes from crack heads, and we pour out alot of alcohol from drinking in public. We made it a little safer tonight for people to come out an enjoy the evening. This is a great start for the 2010 World Conference, there will be more to come, more patrols, more training, and guest speakers that everyone is waiting to see and hear. So lets make this a SAFE and a LEARNING experience for all Angels that is here for this 2010 World Conference.

Saturday July 31st 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be cleaning the Headquarters today. It is our job to keep our HQ in tip top shape, if the HQ is clean and in order, it helps us to be more organized.

As for today we will not need to be in colors, but it would help to get more angels to show up for the cleaning. Our thinking is most angels just like to patrol only, and patrols are important, but we get the cleaning done and we are prepared for our guest angels.

Now the HQ is ready and we as angels are ready, now lets get this 2010 World Conference started. So there is not much for this weeks BLOG, but we will tell you to look for us out on the streets of San Francisco and the streets of Oakland, because Angels are going to be everywhere this weekend.

Tenderloin YMCA basketball game with the SFPD

Saturday July 24th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels, Santa Clara/San Jose Guardian Angels, and the Sacramento Guardian Angels will be playing a Basketball Game today against the San Francisco Police Dept. and the YMCA Youth Members. All the Guardian Angel Chapters will meet at the San Francisco HQ, for planning the game and for changing into our colors. Everyone is prepared and very excited about doing this for the community, this is the Tenderloin Dist. and the game is at the YMCA.

We all march to the YMCA, we get there, we put up our banner, we go to the court to warm up, now we are ready to play ball. This is a full court game, five men on both teams, with one referee from each team to call the fouls. As we all get into game, it is not too good for the Angels, we did the best that we could do, but we could tell the Police had more practice than us. So we kept playing no matter what the score will be, and everyone did get to play that wanted to play.

As the game came to an end, we want to say that score did not matter, what did matter is everyone had fun. We made friendships with everyone that was there and it brought us all closer together, the San Francisco Police, the Guardian Angels, the Senior Citizens and all the YMCA Youth Members and YMCA Staff. This was meant to be through this basketball game, for the organizer herself she was the light of the day (Christina). When we the Guardian Angels got asked by her to do this we thought she was joking, and then the more we talked she was very serious on putting this together, and it did come together because of her.

We wish to thank Christina with all our hearts for making this possible!

Oakland Patrol 7/18/10

Sunday July 18th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be going over to Oakland to begin our Campaign. We will be meeting up with the Oakland Chapter and the Solano County Chapter for this Campaign in Fruitville. We have already done our prebreif, we had already changed into uniform, and now we are ready to head over to Oakland. Next we get on BART at the Powell Station, we ride the BART across the BAY until we get to the Fruitville Station. This is our stop and this is our meeting place for all the chapters, there will also be channel 5 news follow us with a camera for a while to get a story.

Next Ajax the chapter leader for Oakland and the Northern Regional Leader for California puts the teams together, everyone is advised to be focus and to be alert because of the shortage of cops in this city. Next we hit the streets, two teams, Ajax leads team one and Greencard leads team two. We go down a few blocks, we post up on few blocks, there is people honking there horns from there vehicle's driving past us, there is people waving there hands at us from there vehicle's, this was a good sign.

Next we stopped at the Walgreen's, the news guy had to leave, and for us to go in for water. next thing you know we caught a shoplifter trying to exit the Walgreen's with a bunch of stuff, Walgreens thank us and we went on our way. Our next stop was the Oakland's chapter Headquarters, team one had got there first, as for team two they where making a drug bust, but the only thing is, the bad guys did not have enough pot on them to call the cops, team two had to let them go. As for HQ, this is a very good HQ, at a very good spot, to have a HQ is very important for the Guardian Angels.

Next we get right back into the streets, this time International Blvd. it is crazy on this street, the prostitute's, the gang bangers, and the drug dealers. We posted up on a few corners as we kept an eye on the prostitute's, this was out control but we did stopped it for a while. We did get the channel 5 news come back to us for another story right at the time all of this was going on at International Blvd, and before you know it there are gang bangers hanging out in front of two stores dealing there drugs, we do see this.

Team two marches across the street to where they are and advises them to move along, they lesson but slowly. team one marches to them as back up and even the channel 5 news came over to this, but it is safe enough to do so or this wouldn't had happened. Things did get calm, and stores did get a few more costumers to stop in to buy something. We did moved on, the channel 5 news called a day, our next march is back to the Fruitville Bart Station and it is a good distance.

We march on both sides of International Blvd. to cover more area, until we break off from each other to enter the station on two different sides. Next thing that we see is a male slump over in pain, the EMT'S has already been called, but we stay with him to make sure he doesn't get any worst, they arrived and they take him to the hospital.

What a day, and what a city, but we did come here to do what we said we where going to do, make it SAFE. We called it a day, we did our debrief here, we said our goodbyes, but this is not over and we all know this, we may see each other tomorrow or the next day who ever is available.

Saturday July 17th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels and all surrounding chapters will be having the 2010 World Conference meeting today, and a patrol in the Tenderloin Dist. as well. This meeting was not a good turn out as expected, so we did what we could do with the chapters that we had here.

For the patrol, it is set up and it is ready, there will be one team, Scorpion will lead this team with first aid techs and with radio's for communication. Scorpion does take the team out while the leaders stay at HQ to make decisions on the Conference. This is not an easy task, but still it is what it is and we are going to do the best that we can do with what we have. Scorpion's team reports in by radio, everything is all clear, will report in later. We get back to the table to cover all the bases, the rooms, the head count, the patrols, the catering, the rules, and the financing, it must all come together or try to.

Scorpion's team checks in again by radio, everything is all clear, will report in later. We still have to stay at the table to work on another plan on our schedule today, and that is the city of OAKLAND due to the lay-offs of cops. This is going to be a Campaign, a campaign is to reach out to a city that is in need of high importance. So we put together a plan for the Campaign, it is going to take alot of work but we will keep this city safe no matter what. It will also have to come together from all chapters to do there share, with the 2010 World Conference and the Campaign in OAKLAND, these are huge jobs and not one single chapter could do this alone. As we come to the end of our day, we do have a news media here today to cover a story on the Campaign in OAKLAND.

This was cool because it lets people know that we do care, and we will do our best as Guardian Angels to do the job, there is HOPE. The team is back from patrol, (Tenderloin Dist.), the decisions are made for the 2010 World Conference. As for tomorrow, the Campaign in the city of OAKLAND we will be ready for anything, we have trained for days like these.

We would like to thank all the chapters that showed up for this meeting, but then again we know the other chapters will be there if they are needed, and we would also like to thank our director of California Eric (CONFRONT) Wong for being a great leader!The Date Of The World Conference: August 5, 6, 7, 8, 2010

Cook Out in The Haight 7/11/10

Sunday July 11th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be going over to the Haight Ashbury Dist. for a cook out (BBQ) today. We where invited be one of the community leaders in this area, he his also one of our supporters for our chapter here in San Francisco. All the angels will be meeting at the HQ who are interested in going over to the cook out (BBQ). We are all ready and we are all in color's, but this is not a patrol, this is a cook out (BBQ), so we are in a low-key mode. We go to the bus stop, we get on #71 bus, we get to our stop.

We are now in the Haight Ashbury Dist. The house is not far from our stop, about a block away, we get there and right away they are inviting us into there home. There is soda's and water, there is food, and there is a stair well in the back yard that goes up three story's, WOW.

But this all fun and it is all very exciting, this is good that we get a chance to come here once a year to meet with the community this way. It helps our relationships, it helps the community, it helps the awareness of the neighborhood, and helps the angels feel that we are doing a good job. We do meet a few people, and we do answer a lot of questions, and we do not try to wear out our welcome.

This is another part that we must do as Guardian Angels, we must connect with this city and get involved with this city as much as possible, no matter what neighborhood or community. You'll never know how much this helps unless you do it, and do it for the Guardian Angels.

As it gets later in the day, we decide it is time for us to leave, we give our thanks and our blessing for inviting us. We regrouped outside, we get to the bus stop, we get on #71 bus, we get to our bus stop downtown on 6th street. As for the HQ it is two blocks away, we get to the HQ, we take off our color's and we call it a day. We all had a great day, we all had great food, and we all had fun, this is what happens when you become a member of the Guardian Angels.

Haight Ashbury Patrol 7/10/10

Saturday July 10th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be patrolling the Haight Ashbury Dist. today. We do have a guess chapter that will be joining us on this patrol, (The Solano County Guardian Angels Chapter). This is the Haight Ashbury Dist. and we do know what to expect, the reason being for this patrol there was a murder last week and now people are afraid, calls where coming in. Now we prepare; we have two chapters for this patrol, we have first aid techs for this patrol, we have radio's for this patrol.

We even contacted the Forest Ranger's that we will be patrolling the Golden Gate Park area as well, they give us the OK. The chapter leader for San Francisco "J.D." and the chapter leader for Solano County "O" will lead team one, the second in command for San Francisco "Scorpion" and the second in command for Solano County "Razor" will lead team two. Next we go into our prebief, all the angels are in color's, all the angels are in there teams, and now we are ready to hit the streets.

We march to the bus stop, we ride the #6 bus to the Haight Ashbury Dist., we get to our stop, we divide the teams. One team on each side of the street, it looks better this way and we can cover more of the area, we do our radio check's, now we march. The Haight Street is not to bad, it is a beautiful day, alot of people are outside, we did feel that the area was calm, so we marched on. Next we stopped for dinner, we got that out of the way, we regrouped, we got into our teams and we began to march. But we had to stop and post up because we where asked to take a photo with this couple from Spain, as we where talking with them the man spoke up and said he was a cop in Spain. This was COOL! showed us the badge and all, they did asked if we had a chapter in Spain and we explained we did not, but it could happen some day, they then thank us for the work we did and we march on.

Next we march right into the Golden Gate Park area, it seems calm, but expect the unexpected, first thing you smell is POT but this the Haight and that smell is everywhere, but not the POT, because they hide there shit when they see the Guardian Angels. We march around the area, we post up around the area, we show our presents around the area, this is how we do things in this area. It is done this way because, on one side of the park you have POT HILL for all the pot heads, and on the other side of the park you have a PLAY GROUND for kids. As long as each other stays on there side there may not be a problem, but some how, some way this has been working out for years.

Next we decide to march out of the park and head back to the HQ, but there will be some stops along the way. We march all the way down Haight Street to our bus stop, we get on the #71 bus, we get to our stop on 8th street, we march down the block to HOLIDAY INN, this is where the 2010 World Convention is going to be held at and we just wanted to get a feel what is going to be like. We march on to the UNITED NATIONS PLAZA, great place to visit but there are bad guys all around this place, it is all clear.

We march on, we get to the HQ, we debrief, we did make a few mistakes today but we have to learn from them and not try do them again.

Vallejo Independence Day Parade 7/4/10

Sunday July 4th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be going over to Vallejo (Solano County) to be in the 4th July PARADE. We will be meeting up with the Solano County Guardian Angels Chapter and the Oakland Guardian Angels Chapter, all three chapters will be in this PARADE. The San Francisco Chapter begins the day by everyone showing up at the HQ on time, we cannot be late. Next we change into uniforms, we prebrief, we are now ready to march to the BART Station.

The BART is our transportation, we will be leaving from Powell Station to El Cerito Del Norty Station. All the SFGA are on board the BART, it is a good distance but we have done this before, and we do have the other chapter's waiting to pick us up in there vehicles.

As we arrived at El Cerito Del Norty Station we all get into vehicles to drive down to Vallejo, this is a good distance as well. We are findly here in downtown Vallejo and you can see that this city is ready for a PARADE, the cars, the floats, the vendors, the music, and all the people. This is going to be a big PARADE, there where more people here than we thought, but most of all the angels are very excited to be in it. Ajax, the Chapter Leader for Oakland and Northern Reg, Director organizes the march, and "O" Chapter Leader for Solano County will be driving there Guardian Angel Vehicle in the PARADE.

Next we march we all march, we wave our hands and we wave all our hands. But one thing did stand out, a little boy came over to one of our angels and asked if he could have a hug, so the angel did give the little boy a hug, our guess was that Vallejo knew who the Guardian Angels are, this was a good feeling.

As we had reach the end of the PARADE the music was still alive, we where all having so much fun that we all began to dance, it was the end of the PARADE so it did not matter. Next we gathered all our things, and we began to marched to "O"s restaurant to get something to eat and have a meeting. As we where marching we stoped to meet with some WW2 veterans, these guys are cool and believe me they do have some story's to tell you, we took a photo with them and thank them for there service.

We did get to "O"s restaurant, we ate, we had a meeting, and now it is time for the SFGA to get back to our city. We all got into the vehicles to drive back to El Cerito Del Norty Station, as we got there to BART Station, we thank the chapters for inviting us to this PARADE, and we thank them for a great time we had.

We got on the BART, we got off at the Powell Station, we get back to the HQ, we do debrief, we change back into our street clothes.

Now this is what it is all about, helping out another chapter, they will help us when we need them, we are a brotherhood and we are a family. Now we are ready for the Convention, bring it on and lets get this Convention started.

Santa Cruz Trip 6/26/10

Saturday June 26th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels, Santa Clara Guardian Angels and the San Jose Guardian Angels will be traveling over to Santa Cruz today. This is a meet and greet to this city and we have been invited, to meet the citizens, to take a tour, to show our presents. Back at the HQ all the angels show up on time but we are in a hurry, we change into uniforms, we prebrief, and then load into the vans. At the last minute, we did have one member of the Stockon Chapter join us on this tour.

The travel time takes away time that we could be using for patrolling, but this is what it is all about going to another city. The two vans arrive at our meeting spot to meet with the citizens of Santa Cruz, we also meet with the media of Santa Cruz. We talk to them all to explain what the Guardian Angels are, and what we do, but is this city ready for a chapter or not, we will see.

Next, the citizens and the Guardian Angels get into two teams, team one will be lead by (Sarge) San Jose Chapter Leader and team two will be lead by (J.D.) San Francisco Chapter Leader, there will be one observer (Greencard). We do have radio's and we do have first aid techs with us on this tour, we are always prepared, we have to be.

As we patrol, our first spot is a park, it is called drug park because of all the drugs that you could buy there, it is all clear. Next we march down some side streets, not to bad, except we did picked up two needles, not looking to good for Santa Cruz but it is all clear.

Next we march to the boardwalk, this is a beautiful city and the air is very clean, but here it comes (the pot heads), they are yelling at us, they are cussing at us, they are trying to start fights with us, they followed us for about a mile. This was enough, we had citizens on patrol and we did not want to get into a convertation. So Sarge makes the call, we call the Santa Cruz Police Dept. they arrived and we explained that we are not here to get into any fights or start any trouble, we asked the police to have them move along so we could go on with the rest of our day. The police did talk to them (the pot heads), we thank the police and we marched on.

Next we begin to march down a trail along side a water bank, you could see the back of the buildings but nothing out of the ordinary, it is all clear.

We had reach the end of the patrol, we thank the citizens for there support, we made sure everyone was accounted for, and we took a group photo and then we all loaded back into the vans.

The city and the citizens must stay in touch with the angels to let us know how things are getting or going, we must have communication with each other. Hopefully there will be more trips to Santa Cruz, but we have to be invited! As we travel back to our city's we think we did a good job, but it took alot of work and alot of planning, we have to thank all the chapters that made this happen.

Tenderloin Night Patrol 6/19/10

Saturday June 19th 2010, we the San Francisco Guardian Angels will be doing a night patrol in the Tenderloin Dist. tonight. We will have a guess chapter join us on this patrol, the Santa Clara Chapter with there chapter leader REN. This is a night patrol, it is more dangerous, so we do have to be more focus and more alert for this patrol. All angels, both chapter's arrive at the HQ on time, now we are ready to change into uniforms and get into our prebrief for this patrol. The teams are set, Scorpion and REN will lead team one, Zorro and Rambo will lead team two. We will have two observers for this patrol, J.D. for team one and Greencard for team two, there are 18 members tonight so we have to make sure this is done by the book. Prebrief is done, the radios are past out, the first aid angels have there packs, we call the police dept. to make sure we have the all clear.

Now the teams are ready to hit the streets, we march to the TL it is not far from our HQ, the first street we observe is Turk St. We post up on a few corners to where we run off the drug dealers, we stop at the 201 Turk building to talk to the desk clerk there, it is all clear.

We march on to one of our parks that we check on, as we check the park a homeless male needs some assistants with a cut on his hand, first aid angel fixed him up, it is all clear.

We then marched to Van Ness, as we got there, their where police everywhere, the police had gang members handcuffed, the (Fillmore Kids), they where going to jail and we did not ask why, so we marched on.

We then marched to one of our HOT SPOTS a parking garage, it was not to bad but we did pick up a few needles, the rest of the area is all clear. We next begin to check out the alley's, the first one we checked we take a crack pipe off a male, we advise him to get into treatment and never to return to this alley ever again, the rest is all clear. The next alley we checked there was broken beer bottles and a few needles, it is all clear now. Our next stop is Cobra's Corner, this is another HOT SPOT, we get there, we post up, all the bad guys are yelling at us, cussing at us, but we stayed focus and we stayed posted up, it calms down, it is now all clear.

We then march to the 631 Hamilton building to talk to the security there, it is all clear. We are now on O'Farrell St. we post up on a few corners, we check on a few alleys, everything is all clear. Our next stop is another park, we get there, we check it out, we talk to the family's and the kids in the park, only one bad thing we find a box knife on the ground, so we confiscate it. As we where beginning to leave the park we ran into an old school member, he was excited to see that the Guardian Angels are still around, he was thankful to see us out in this neighborhood, the park is all clear.

We then march on through more alleys, through more streets, as we where about to call it a night we come up on a female smoking crack in a doorway, we stopped her and took her pipe and took her drugs, we advised her to get into a treatment center, she said that they don't work. But we smashed the crack on the sidewalk, and we smashed the crack pipe on the sidewalk as well, showing her that this is a bad drug and advised her never to return here again. We are calling it a night, we march to the HQ, one team ahead of the other, still staying focus on all our moves and watching each others back.

We get to the HQ, we get back safe, we do debrief, REN does get his WINGS for taking a crack pipe off the streets. This is one of those nights that things happened, but we where ready because we stayed focused.

You always got to stay focus, focus was the key for tonight.
